This policy explains what Full Throttle Finishes does with your personal information when you use this website. We are the data controller for that information.

What we collect
We only collect what you type into one of the three forms on this site. We do not buy data, and we do not track you around the internet.
- Get a quote — your name, email address, phone number, details of the vehicle, anything you write in the message box, and any photographs you choose to attach.
- Contact — your name, email address, phone number and your message.
- Book an inspection — your name, email address, phone number and the date and time you asked for.
With every submission we also record the IP address it came from and the fact that you ticked the consent box. The IP address is kept only to block automated spam and to stop the same form being submitted repeatedly in a few seconds. It is not used to identify you or to build a profile.
Why we hold it, and our lawful basis
- To answer you and quote for the work. Where you are asking us to price or book a job, this is processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep the forms working. Storing the IP address to prevent spam is our legitimate interest in keeping the site usable.
- Consent for the tick box you completed when submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and that will not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Enquiries, bookings and any photographs you send are kept for 24 months from our last contact with you, then deleted. We keep them that long because paintwork queries and warranty questions often come back months after the job. Records we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes are held for as long as the law requires.
Who else sees it
We do not sell or share your information. It is handled by a small number of suppliers who keep this site and our email running:
- Pressable — hosts this website, so anything you submit is stored on their servers.
- Titan — provides our email, so enquiry notifications pass through it.
- Google Fonts — the typeface used on this site is served by Google. Loading a page therefore tells Google your IP address and basic browser information. Nothing you type into a form is sent to Google.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or social media pixel, and no visitor tracking of any kind. That is also why you are not asked to accept a cookie banner. The map on our contact page is drawn by us rather than embedded, so it loads nothing from a third party either.
If we ever add anything that does set a cookie, we will update this page and ask you first.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form. Email contact@fullthrottlefinishes.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you spoke to us first so we can put it right.
Children
This site is intended for customers arranging vehicle work and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
